Get more Visitors for your Blog with 2 Simple Techniques
Well you have started a new website/blog. Then the next major thing to achieve is getting traffic/visitors to your website/blog through various marketing techniques.
There are various techniques like Link exchange, Advertisements, etc. to gain visitors to your website/blog. Here I am presenting you two new strategies to get more traffic than anything else. I am following these two techniques and getting more traffic to my blog. Here we go.
- Google Talk
This is one of the best thing that I am following. If you are frequently chatting using your Gmail account, then you can gain more visitors with this method.
What I did is just changed my Gmail chat status message to “BlogrPro.com“. Also I have asked my friends to change their Gmail chat status message to exactly what I have it.
This is like the Multi Level Marketing technique. After changing my status message, my friends got an attention to my blog. Hence I got some 25+ unique visitors. Then since my friends chat status message is also the same as mine, I got an approximate of over 400+ page views daily than what I am getting now.
Well this method will be suited for any social networking sites, I love Facebook since it’s interface is easy for marketing purpose.
Kindly change your Facebook account status message to resemble some of your blog posts along with its url. All of your friends will be able to see your message.
By this way, I got around 10+ unique visitors with 100+ page views daily.
By following these two techniques, I am sure that you can get more traffic/visitors for your website/blog.

Other than Google talk you can use Yahoo Messenger also which I also use. I have thousand’s of users added in my messenger list. But due to restriction I can only see 1000 but other people can also see my status.

I am already following these steps.The best way to drive more traffic is to have some contest or give aways,apart from that i used to comment on other like minded blogs.You can also use twitter to drive more traffic

i use first and second both the tip, also integration of one social media with another social media is very useful, i use Twiggit so that all the post i Digg automatically tweet and also i use Facebook app twitter so that all the thing i tweet automatically share on my Facebook wall, its amazing, i mean i only need to Digg a post and that post automatically updated on twitter and Facebook.

Currently, I depends on the visitors from the search engine. Really don’t have time (actually lazy) to market my blog. Anyway, the two methods that you’ve outlined here are quite useful.

Interesting tip about google talk – i’m not on that currently but yes use facebook –
Facebook has not helped generate the readers I expected, but I guess that’s because of my links on facebook – more focus on family.. need to expand that

These tips look good. However I always take me away from chat advertising. In my chat I always love to be a simple minded people, don’t want to look like advertiser. I sometime share some link of interested article around the web on Facebook. You know what, sometime I find my article also interesting, so I share it. I depend on search engine traffic and that going good. Also I use some social network. Anyway, these tips will help new people to get some hit but if you want to go further, then you must write good article and share your views on other site. I also use other marketing technique, I don’t want to share it right now.

I would say you can also list technique of posting threads in forums like digital point and site point. They are relatively helpful and can get you a lot of unique visitors.
