Sell your Blog’s 125 x 125 Ad Space with 5 Popular Ad Networks
Well everyone has a thought of earning money by starting a website / blog. After then what most people are doing is just putting Google Adsense ads in their site and making profit from it. But what’s the next best option for earning is selling their website’s advertisement space. If such an option is in your mind, the best advertisement banner size for both the publishers and advertisers is 125 x 125 banner size ads.

So how come it’s possible to sell your website’s advertisement space? Well you can directly sell yours or can use other advertisement networks for this particular method. Here I am presenting you 5 popular advertisements which mainly concentrates on this 125 x 125 advertisements.
1.
From Technorati – the most popular blog search engine, Technorati Engage provides you to sell various size of advertisement space in your blog/website which includes 125 x 125 too. This is in a beta version and hence we faced various problems when we are using it. Getting approved here is very easy as there are no big rules. This supports CPM, CPC ads. Minimum payout is $50.00. Supports Paypal, Cheques, Wire Transfer and Credit system.
2.
One of the most popular 125 x 125 ad network at present and getting approval for your website is very easy. They don’t accept Blogspot’s free blogs because of some problems with it’s ad code installation in such blogs. It requires PHP support in your web server and gives you a plugin to add with your Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and stand alone scripts. Gives commission for affiliates so that you can earn $10 if you have referred a new advertiser/publisher registration and also can earn 5% on all advertisers buy.
3.
This is one of the most popular advertisement network at present. But their rules are little bit complex and getting approval in this network is not easy and you have to take various steps to do it actually. Payment through Paypal and cheque is possible.
4.
A forum like network and a credit based network, CMF Ads is now getting much popularity in blogosphere and it claims that 100% credits will be given to the publishers.
5.
Project Wonderful is one of the most aggressive ad network and they are continuously checking their publisher’s blog/website to confirm whether ads codes have been working perfectly or not. If not they will suspend your ad region and will give some time to correct it. If you have not corrected the problem,they will deactivate your account. It’s account interface is not a eye catching one.
Our strong advice to you is don’t register in such advertisement networks as soon as you have started your blog/website. Because many of them are displaying your statistics with average monthly views. For example, if your blog got 1000 page views in 1st month and you have registered in one of those ad networks, and after 12 months your blog is getting 20k page views, what will happen is that they will merely take an average of those page views in the past 12 months. Hence register only if your blog have started getting more page views. Also many are using other statistics like inbound and outbound links, alexa rank, pagerank, etc.
So what do you think about this post? If you know anything about these ad networks or you know some other good ad networks, kindly share with us.
What are you thinking right now? Share with us. Definitely yours will be wonderful than mine!

@Kavya,
Welcome here Kavya.
Of course you can have ads in your blogspot blog. But most of these ad networks are not considering your blog niche and also your blog is in a sub domain. Try to apply for Adsense. If Google Adsense approved your application, then you can earn handsome amount from it.

hey very useful post. Currently I’m using buysellads and I’m very happy with it.
Though heard about performancing ads and other ad network, but never bother to give them a shot, since buysell ads are taking proper care of my as space.
IMO if you are lucky enough to grab direct advertisement that will be great for you..

BSA is good but they keep a significant margin ..so also keep that in mind. If possible try to get direct advertisement.

@Raj,
That’s cool. Did you be able to get some good advertisers there?
Nov 20, 2009 @ 11:04 PM
Yes and no. It’s just that the lower i set the prices for my ad slots, more i attracted new advertisers. But, there were a few advertisers who were regular with bidding and were paying better than the prices set. Later, i got bored with their system and decided to jump of the PW wagon. I say, PW is great for monetization if a website has an impressive alexa ranking.
Nov 20, 2009 @ 11:28 PM
@Raj,
Seems to be interesting. I too had such an experience before in PW.
