Now you can report twitter about spammers easily
Twitter today have added a new feature to combat with the spammers in their micro blogging network. Twitter is known for its much popularity among netizens as well as for the spam messages.
Twitter today announced this feature in it’s Spam Watch profile. Twitter previously have asked its users to follow its Spam Watch profile to report any spammers through a Direct Message which almost was criticized by everyone. From now onwards, users can report a particular profile for spamming in that particular profile page itself thereby avoiding further problems in Direct Messaging to the Spam Watch.
Let’s see how well will twitter perform with this new addon for combating with the spammers.

So this feature just released. I started using it 2-3 days back. Reported few accounts already.
This is good spammers must be stopped.

It is good to hear that twitter is improving. Twitter developers really need to sharpen their weapon against spammers.

Yes. But this is not a big deal at all. They have simplified the process of spam reporting. Twitter needs innovation to block those spammers.

I’m really excited about this feature. Spammers are 95% of the reason I don’t follow back anymore. Being able to weed out spammers using this new tool is going to be really nice.
I’m excited about the list function they are adding as well.

Guess I should go to the acctuall Twitter page sometime. I always use Tweetdeck & Block/Report Spam from there.
Glad I read this so, if anyone ask I can tell them the easy way to report from the profile page.
I hope this helps clean up some of those accounts that just clog the twitter stream.

Twitter would be a heaven if there are no affiliate spammers.. Although blog links publishing is considered but not affiliates and the other crap

That’s correct. There are many bloggers who are not interacting but just posting so many affiliate links. If you came to see them, report their profile as SPAM.
