How Twitter and Google shares their bandwidth?

Have you tweeted? Then tweet now itself. Well every time, we are targeting well on Google. This time, we have found something to share about the strong (!) relationship between Google and Twitter. But I am not sure whether Google is going to buy Twitter or not!

So how Twitter is actually sharing it’s bandwidth with Google?

For a brief introduction,

  • There are so many AJAX frameworks like JQuery, Prototype, etc. Most bloggers are using JQuery in their blogs. Twitter too uses JQuery for it’s internal operations. When you are tweeting some messages, JQuery is used to do that action / operation. And so much of works in Twitter are done through JQuery framework.
  • Google gives an option for the webmasters to use JQuery files from their servers directly. So, getting JQuery files directly from Google servers will give a real boost to a website’s speed and performance.

Twitter is actually using these Google servers to conduct all those operations of it through JQuery. Hence, Twitter gets a boost up in it’s performance. But one more thing I have to share with you at this moment. That is, since Twitter is reducing it’s server load by using the servers of Google, Google eventually can track the entire statistics of Twitter. So Google can merely understand how well Twitter can make it’s process to be a successful one.

We don’t know whether Twitter is using Google’s resources for a long period of time or just they are using after their homepage revamp.
