BlogrPro Gets a Design Makeover
That’s for you only. Yes, the new BlogrPro theme has finally arrived. We already have mentioned that we will start releasing our sLight WordPress theme to you all and it will be released within 5 days. I recently had a chat with my blogger friends and they just told that BlogrPro is looking very fast and very simple. I am very much disappointed with the fact that the theme is very simple. Yes, I love designing sites with much elegance and icons.
Hence, I took 2 days time to launch the new theme perfectly on Diwali celebrations. But as I told you earlier, I will never compromise with the loading speed of this blog.
Features of the New Design
- Revamped header - Header size has been reduced. - Logo is changed with some gradient effects.
- Post area is completely changed - New fonts are used to give a professional look.
- Revamped single posts area - Links have been differentiated with an attractive color and a different font. - Related posts section has been changed with new colors.
- Revamped comments area - Links in the comment area now have more focus. - Simplified the comment box without any background pictures.
- A much elegant Sidebar - Sidebar headers have been enhanced with icons. - Fonts and Colors are changed.
- Footer - Footer has a new background. - Fonts and Colors are changed.
Positives
- Highly customized with various Widget positions.
- YSlow score of 92 with Grade A which is one of our best achievement.
- SEO is much better in this new theme.

Don’t really like the green color to be frank
But the sidebar looks very elegant now. The logo can have a real design I believe. Page loads very fast as always.

Actually, I have started the header with Red color and then have changed my mind to go for Green. May I know what kind of color can be added for the header instead of Green?
Meanwhile, you have mentioned that logo can have a real design. I am still finding some good innovative idea for logo. If you have any idea, it will be worth appreciable.

looks like most of them are happy with Green, so no issues! I would have gone with blue! As for the logo, am not the right guy to give ideas, so look out for a professional. You can contact me for some pointers

I always love to have the blue color header. But felt bored with the same color in this blog for a long period of time. Hence the green color blog.

Good work karthikeyan. Everything is perfect except one.
In the single post pages the content starts from way too left…almost at the edge of the screen.It would be better if you leave some whitespace there. ANother aspect : it looks like the height of the header is less than 70 px which means you won’t accomodate a 468 X 68 ad unit there ? What are you planning to do with that area ? Are you planning to keep it empty ?

That’s a good question. I am planning to use that area for promoting some of this blog products that I am going to release soon.

This theme is better. As Amit suggested I think you should increase the height of header. When you showed me the screen shot, I didn’t noticed it.
Anyways Happy Diwali. I am waiting for the sLight Theme to be available.

A pretty good look. I like the typeface used in the posts and sidebar section. Also the sidebar looks pretty neat with all the options required. Great job on the theme.

Just wanted to add that, you might want to consider moving the search box to the header area for better navigation on the site.

I visit so many blogs that I can’t 100% sure say that I remember the old BlogrPro design, but I like this one – it’s simple, but stylish and easy for the eyes too.

This theme is perfect for reading purpose. Whole concentration goes on text in this theme. You can take survey by adding polls and post this in Dp forums and site point forums for what exactly visitor feels.

Good design, and the most important point that i noticed is you have optimized the site a lot, it loads quickly here. Very essential step, yields a lot in long term.

What about the combination of green and orange. I am sure this combination will rock.
For logo design try to ask your females (it can be your girl friend(s), sister or any one) I am sure you can have good idea from them.
