Oh no! What the hell are you asking? Is this what do you want to ask after seeing this post title? If yes, then please wait for few more minutes to ask me after reading this post.

Blogging – one of the passionate work for many netizens is certainly an addiction and I can try my level best to prove it so.

Is Blogging an Addiction?

What is Blogging?

Blogging is a method of expressing your thoughts in a platform which is supposed to be the internet.

How Blogging is going on now?

  • Blogging is an easy method to call anyone as writer or blogger.
  • Blogging is an easy method to earn rather than to learn.
  • Blogging is an easy method to cheat.
  • Blogging is an easy method to make people so lazy than before.
  • Blogging is an easy method to waste anyone’s time.
  • Blogging is easy method to over act or over expose.

Why Blogging is an addiction?

It’s simple. Everything is for money and fame. When one of my friend launched his blog, I did ask him about his motive for the launch. He told this. “I need to act smart and make money”. So I again asked him, “What do you know about blogging?”. He told this. “Blogging is what I supposed to make others to believe me”.

This clearly shows one thing. Blogging is now like a top most followed bad karma like so. Even though I love to be a self controlled blogger in every aspect, I still need you to know how blogging can addict anyone.

I forget to say this. My friend’s age is just 12 years and 5 months.

I still need to contribute my words here to make you believe that blogging is an addictive practice. Will be covered in upcoming posts.

What are you thinking right now? Share with us. Definitely yours will be wonderful than mine!

Same as Twitter or StumbleUpon, blogging can drive us addicted. I only stay still when writing something or commenting or at least tweeting.

As pointed by Phaoloo, there can be different addictions. Even blogging as an addiction will not cause much harm if proper rest is taken (especially to hands and eyes)

Blogging is a job for me and if you don’t love your job, you will not get success. I love this job and I try my level best to put my 100% each day and in each article. I think it’s my responsibility to offer my reader the best thing according to their need. I spend hours to provide them what they want. If this called addiction then yes I am addicted.

Blogging is sharing. Whether you share knowledge, experience etc. In sharing those stuff, you spend so much of your time and for that you try to get some money.

Money can’t be the motive of blogging, otherwise it will become business. Those who are addicted of blogging (including me), actually they are keen to share knowledge, experience, information on daily basis.

    Nice coverage Karthik.

Oh Yes, blogging is an addiction.

At times I would not sleep but site in from of the computer, researching, checking stats. Twittering, following etc. It takes up way too much time. But I can’t help it.

In fact there is a new physiological disorder that has emerged as a result of the Internet. Called IAD (Internet Addiction Disorder).

I wonder if we can introduce a disorder for blog addiction, called BAD. Blogging Addiction Disorder.

So can you say you are a BAD blogger.

What is blogging depends upon the blogger himself. For many, blogging means earning income online, while for others it is just an expression of themselves. I like to think of blogging as connecting with other individuals. :-)

It feels good that we bloggers are addicted to at least “something”. There are millions of people out there without any purpose and goal. They don’t have passion and they don’t dare to “create”.

We Create. We think. We share. We contribute to the society in some way. Call it addiction but yes the process is enjoyable..at least far far better than sitting in the rocks and poking gossips.
